Tosio Negami, former deputy general manager of corporate planning and 22-year company veteran, has been promoted to chairman and chief executive officer of Shiseido Cosmetics (America) Ltd. Mr. Negami will be responsible for directing the Shiesido business in the U.S., with a focus on a strong American presence, and promoting prestige brand Cle de Peau Beaute. He succeeds Hiroshi Maruyama, who will assume the role of deputy general manager of salon business planning, professional business operations, Shiseido Co. Ltd., Tokyo, Japan.
